Deadlines 2025

• Delegate applications open on March 17th.

• Delegate applications close on April 30, 23:59 CET.

• After being admitted, delegates receive a second form on which committee and country preference, dietary restrictions, accommodation needs, etc. can be indicated. This form needs to be completed by May 1st.

• After being admitted, delegates receive payment instructions. Payments need to be completed by May 1st.

• Delegates will be assigned to committees by May 9th.

• Delegates are expected to write position papers (instructions will follow) which need to be submitted to their respective chairs by May 28th.

• OckMUN will commence on June 7th & 8th🎉

Sign up to become committee chair!

Two chairing spots are reserved for a member of the municipality and provincial council, meaning there are 8 remaining spots for chairs and co-chairs. All (co-)chairs will receive full sponsorship for the participation fee.

We use a UN4MUN based Rules of Procedures, meaning the chairs play an active role in building consensus within the committees. Please check the rest of the website for info on the committees, etc. (note that the website is still under construction, more information will follow later. Of course the committee agendas will be made together with the chairs).

Expectations

• Proven ability or strong potential to chair an MUN committee

• Commitment to prepare your committee's Secretary-General Report (also known as study guide) together with your fellow committee chair

• Commitment to read and potentially provide feedback to all position papers from your committee's delegates

• University student or (young) professional (aged 18-35)

Deadlines 2025

1. Chair applications open on January 28th

2. Chair applications round 1 closed on February 21, 23:59 CET

3. Chair applications round 2 closes on April 15, 23:59 CET

4. Round 1 results will be announced in early March

5. Round 2 results will be announced April 16th

6. Secretary-General Reports, Agendas, and Working Plans need to be finalised by May 5th

Delegates will be assigned to committees by May 9th
Delegates' position papers need to be handed in to the chairs by May 28th
OckMUN will commence on 7&8 June
